Lawrence Wright is a Pulitzer Prize-winning author and staff writer for The New Yorker. Wright won the Pulitzer in 2007 for his book, “Looming Tower: Al-Qaeda and the Road to 9/11.”
Sam Tanenhaus was editor of The New York Times Book Review from 2004 to 2013, and his biography of Whittaker Chambers was a finalist for both the Pulitzer Prize and the National Book Award. His book, “The Death Conservatism,” was published in 2009.
