Ben McKenzie was born and raised in Texas. After graduating magna cum laude from the University of Virginia with a degree in Economics and Political Science, he moved to New York to find work as an actor. Ben is best known for starring in hit shows such as Gotham, Southland, and The OC and most recently revisited his Economics degree with his first book, Easy Money alongside journalist Jacob Silverman.
