Katie Benner is a Pulitzer Prize-winning reporter for The New York Times and an MSNBC contributor. Since joining the newspaper in 2015, she has covered the Justice Department, Apple, the venture capital sector and Silicon Valley startups. She has broken stories on workplace sexual harassment, gender discrimination, domestic violence and civil rights issues. She has also worked at Bloomberg, Fortune and CNN, where she covered financial markets, Wall Street, private equity firms and hedge funds
