Ten Years of Overheard: Journalists

The First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution guarantees a free press. For the past ten seasons, print and broadcast journalists have made their way to the Overheard stage to discuss with Evan the trajectory of their careers, the state of journalism, and their hopes and fears for the future of their industry and our country. This episode of Overheard brings some of those important conversations in this look back.

Jeffrey Toobin

Jeffrey Toobin is a New Yorker staff writer and CNN legal analyst whose book on the nation’s nine most important robed jurists was published in 2012. It’s called “The Oath: The Obama White House and The Supreme Court.”

Howard Fineman

Howard Fineman is the editorial director of the AOL Huffington Post Media Group and an NBC and MSNBC political analyst who previously spent thirty years writing and blogging and columnizing about politics for Newsweek.

Overheard with Evan Smith made possible with generous support from these underwriters.
